In this video we will be covering Pivot Points also known as Floor Trader Pivots or Daily Pivots. These are derived from the floor trader guys back years ago in the pit who would try to frame the day based on the previous day's trade. Let's look at the formula, strategies and setups that we could maybe integrate into our trading plan. I've already discussed the importance of setting boundaries for yourself in your trading. So the idea with pivot points is this and we'll go into a lot more detail in this video. We have what is generally called the pivot point; when price is above it, it is considered that the buyers are in control and when price is below it, it is considered that the sellers are in control.
