Tesla Inc. began negotiating possible incentives with a Texas county to bring a new auto assembly plant near Austin. The Austin American-Statesman said Travis County Commissioners Court will discuss terms of the deal this week. If the county is picked, the plant would focus on Tesla's pickup truck and Model Y SUV. While discussions were confirmed by the local paper, it was not clear whether Texas was picked or if Tesla is still considering Oklahoma. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said in the past e spoke to Elon Musk about potentially bringing a plant to Texas.
